Salary Range: $123,000 - $159,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience)

Summary:

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Serenity Lane, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our daily operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional services and the achievement of our strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive organizational success and maintain high standards of care.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide strategic leadership to optimize operational efficiency across clinical, mental health, outpatient, IT, and Environmental Services (EVS) teams.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement operational plans that align with our mission and objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to support operational initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance organizational growth and the quality of care.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.

Other Duties:

  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Support board communications and presentations.
  • Collaborate with other executives to optimize overall performance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in addiction treatment.
  • Extensive experience with Lean methodologies, including implementing tools and techniques to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and inspire trust.
  • Visionary leadership with a results-oriented approach.

Education and Experience:

  • Lean Management Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in Lean methodologies with a successful track record in implementation and optimization.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, showcasing effective team management and strategic oversight.
  • Healthcare Operations: At least 5 years of experience in clinical and facility operations within the healthcare sector, with a preference for experience in addiction treatment.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment: Experience in the field of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment or behavioral health is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Degree: A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

License/Certification:

  • Relevant certifications or licensure preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
